Children’s Summer Art Camp 2020

SUMMER ART CAMP BY AGE GROUP

All children (ages 5-11) can join us in mid-July and/or August for some inspired creativity!

JULY: SUMMER ART CAMP 2020
Week # 1, 2, 3, 4 (Dates: July 6, 13, 20 & 27)

AUGUST: SUMMER ART CAMP 2020
Week #5, 6, 7, 8 (Dates: Aug 3, 10, 17 & 24)

As we continue to safely shelter through, we will be offering online classes as we’ve been conducting since March successfully with wonderful results!  Our students are focusing and making some amazing artwork, which is all so exciting to observe.  Art Camp will be inspiring, creative and fun 1-hour classes twice a week by age groups and interests.  We will be including (beside those activities listed below) other activities as cooking, baking, haku-lei making, and for the younger ones some science-artsy activities.  Other projects, with time-permitting, will include:  tie dye, sumi-e (Japanese ink painting), poster making, masks, etc.  In addition, as always, we will be integrating art history and world art cultural references for the many of these lessons.

SESSIONS BY AGE GROUP:

K-2nd Grade/boys & girls:   Wednesdays & Fridays, 1:00-2:00pm:

drawing/painting, sand art, puppets, collage, crafts, nature art +

3rd-5th Grade – boys:  Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:00-11:00am:

comic drawing, flip books, sculpture, graffiti art, nature arts +

3rd-5th Gr – girls:  Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:00-2:00pm:

drawing/painting, art journal, fashion illustration, sewing, crafts +

Fees: 

Sessions are $50/week for 2 classes, which includes all materials for students in Red Hook-Rhinebeck-Tivoli or Hudson-Germantown, New York.

*All students outside these surrounding areas, within the US will have a box of monthly supplies mailed priority for $15.
